To achieve this, we are implementing a very extensive artificial insemination and embryo transfer program emphasizing breeding efficiency and mothering traits in our females, and performance and carcass merit in the feedlot cattle we produce. This is done without sacrificing phenotype so the Highland breed can attain a level of predictability to make them a viable choice for serious cattle producers and the commercial market.
